Somewhere toward the end of one chapter and the beginning of a new one, I found the strength to return to music. Within that space, I was able to focus on creating a longform ambient piece that reflected the sense of calm I had regained following a major crises in my life. I came across a message posted on a blog (of all places) that spoke directly to me and I created Complex Silence 15 while these words drifted through my head:

"Peace. It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart." (Author Unknown)

Complex Silence 15 is an expression of calm in the midst of the thousand and one things; truly feeling the stillness, tranquility, and peace; and knowing there is nothing to fear, only reasons to hope.

May this music help you to find your true internal silence and space--that deep, profound equanimity awaiting you within your own heart.
